About The Event
AmeriCosmos - NY based multi-instrumentalist and national touring artist Matt Venuti brings his critically acclaimed AmeriCosmos, to Paradiso Santa Fe. The performance blends live, mostly improvised music with a visual voyage of breathtaking nature footage that Venuti filmed during his tours throughout the US, and while Artist In Residence in some of our National Parks. At an opportune moment the footage ascends into space and a cosmic journey ensues, enhanced by NASA and Webb Telescope imagery. Featuring an array of rare electronic and acoustic instruments that Venuti was among the first to explore, AmeriCosmos has captivated audiences nationwide in theaters, planetariums, art centers, festivals, and high profile events such as TED and TEDx conferences.
