Bevan Manson Quartet

Bevan Manson is a composer/pianist whose compositions straddle jazz and classical, featuring lyrical melodies, complex rhythmic ideas, rich harmonies and orchestrations. He is active as a composer/arranger/jazz pianist in LA, with composing commissions including the San Francisco Symphony, Sierra Chamber Music, Pacific Philharmonic Foundation and more. His music has been featured in several major films, and numerous TV series including‘Breaking Bad’, as well as several independent films. Other works of his include a violin sonata, woodwind quintet, woodwind trio, a symphony, string quartets and trios, choral music with orchestra, and music for solo woodwinds. He is a founding member along with Ed Neumeister and Gernot Wolfgang of the Improvisatory Minds composers group.
