About The Event
John Lyell has been releasing instrumental Ambient Electronic music commercially since 1998…having released a total of six albums up through 20
From his recording studio in New Mexico he currently writes, records, engineers and produces instrumental Ambient, Atmospheric and SpaceMusic. He often combines Eurorack Modular synths with traditional hardware synthesizers when performing live.
He also designed the CD cover art for all of his Ambient releases and has created digital “Space Art” from 1997-2015…which he has displayed and sold at
Sci-Fi Conventions over the years along with his Ambient music.
All of John's Ambient releases have received critical acclaim and radio airplay in the U.S., Europe, and Australia on syndicated Ambient and New Age radio shows such as "Hearts Of Space", "Stars End", "Echoes", "Musical Star Streams", "Ultima Thule" as well as numerous internet radio stations internationally.
Jeff Greinke is a renowned composer of ambient, electro-acoustic, and experimental music. Jeff has a degree in meteorology and weather has remained a
central theme of his heavily atmospheric work, which blends electronic and acoustic instruments and textures in order to produce multi-layered and haunting yet inviting soundscapes.
Jeff has been living in the Desert Southwest outside of Tucson for the past 20 years after residing for over two decades in Seattle. His time in the desert deeply informs his current work. Jeff will be presenting a solo set of electronic and sample based music which will also include projections of his new video work.
