Love Unfold The Moon
Known to Paradiso audiences for his boundary-breaking work with the metal/jazz/Middle Eastern mashup Love Unfold The Sun, guitarist and oudist Mustafa Stefan Dill returns with a new parallel acoustic project that continues his trademark fusion of modern improvisation and deep cultural heritage.
A genre-pushing force since the late ’80s, Dill’s early solo recordings — Warning Clothed in Bright Robes of Dawn (1994) and Sangre Del Rio (1997) — earned international acclaim for their fearless blend of flamenco roots and contemporary improvisation, leading to performances across Europe at FMP’s Total Music Meeting, Nickelsdorf, the Wirral Guitar Festival, Zuid Nederlands Jazz Festival, and more.
With his new ensemble Love Unfold The Moon, Dill revisits those post-flamenco and free-jazz acoustic explorations — this time in a dynamic group context.
