About The Event
Albuquerque’s own multi-Grammy-winning tenor saxophonist Doug Lawrence, the featured soloist with The Count Basie Orchestra for the past 25+ years, comes to Paradiso with his New Mexican bandmates – Steve Figueroa, piano; Paul Gonzales, trumpet; Milo Jaramillo, bass; Ricky Carrido, congas and David Flores, drums – the group he has dubbed his Nuevo Mexicanos band, also featuring Jackie Zamora, "the Queen of New Mexico Salsa". Always adding a new twist to their performances, for this show they will be playing lots of new material. CD Release Party! Come share the excitement!
