One  of Santa Fe's favorite jazz bands for many years, OrnEtc., is coming  back to play a special concert later this week. The band includes some  of New Mexico's most well known and accomplished players.

After  the demise of four of Santa Fe's main jazz venues during the pandemic  (El Meson, The Skylight, Original Second Street Brewery and Duel  Brewing), the band's members have been exploring many  other musical avenues, including national and world tours by sax player  Chris Jonas, and Alex Murzyn's work with the Cal Haines quartet, which  helped that group win the 2023 NM Music Award for Best Jazz Album. All the other OrnEtc. members have remained very active in the New Mexico music scene as well.

Now  by popular demand, as they say, the full OrnEtc. Sextet will be playing  a special one night only concert at the beautifully renovated venue  Paradiso, and we are very excited about it. We really hope to see you  there. It is guaranteed to be a great night of all-original jazz music  by this wonderful band.
